Welcome back. A lot going on. Summer is in full swing, and it is
HOT! We just got back from Ireland. Another trip, another airline
screw up. This time they lost our luggage (on the way out). We got
there early on Sunday and didn't get the luggage until Wednesday
evening. (Mike's razor was in the lost luggage, and didn't shave
the entire time (even when the luggage was returned)) Aside from
the luggage, we had a great time! Mike only ended up on the wrong
side of the road once (damned traffic circles!) Lots of history,
culture and castles! Kids preferred the castles to the history and
culture, but we all had a lot of fun. We got to see lots of castles
in various states of restoration. The weather was perfect. Low to
mid 70's and sunny! There are a TON of new pictures on the picture
pages. Go check them out. Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome back. Not much going on. We just got back from a vacation
in San Diego. Great place. The weather man threatened us with rain,
but it never showed up. Great weather (68-74 mostly sunny). We went
to the Zoo, Legoland, Sea World and the USS Midway. (Mike's mother
joined us) We had a great time and took lots of pictures (you should
go look at them...I work my fingers to the bone on this site, the
least you could do is look at all the stuff!). We didn't want to
come home. That was even more true when Delta screwed up our connecting
flight through Cincinnati. We didn't get home until after 1am :(.
Oh well, thanks for stopping by!

Hey, welcome to 2005. A crazy holiday in '04. Shari's parents came
in from NC, but nobody else could make it because Mike got really
sick. (Who also got Shari's parents sick.) Then over Christmas,
Mike's parents came in during a snow storm! Ila also was one of
the lucky people flying USAir that got her luggage "misplaced".
But we all survived (Ila got her luggage back) and the kids got
EVEN MORE presents. This year's big hits were a PS2 and the ESPN
game station. The kids haven't stopped playing them. Finally, football
is almost over, and Alex's ability to pick superbowl contenders
has ended. The Broncos have been eliminated. We're all very sad...Enough
of that. Here's to a happy 2005 (and to Lucas picking up Alex's
prognostication ability.)
